The animated series ROBOTECH is also another epic series that helped me 'deal' back then and still to date.
I have read all of the Dune books by Frank Herbert (more than once ^.^), and have read all of Brian Herbert's Dune books, with the exception of of the two he just released (and only because i want to read the last trilogy all at once and not have to wait) - and he has another that is about to come out.
Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention that God Emperor Dune is my favorite in the Frank Herbert series...there are two of Brians that are my number one fav.'s but can not remember their titles off of the top of my head.
